30 August Victory Day Celebrated with a Program Held at Our Faculty

The 30 August Victory Day was celebrated with a program titled “The Commander-in-Chief Battle of the Fronts and the 30 August Victory Day,” organized by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Hitit University. Our martyrs and veterans were commemorated with respect and gratitude.

The conference was attended by Vice Rector of Hitit University Prof. Dr. Nurcan Baykam, Deputy Provincial Gendarmerie Commander Colonel Talip Kurt, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık, Director of the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services Sahit Aydın, Deputy Secretary General of the Special Provincial Administration Nejat Yazıcı, along with guests, academic staff, and students.

Following a moment of silence and the National Anthem, Dean Prof. Dr. Zekeriya Işık delivered the opening and welcome speech. Then, Dr. Mustafa Bakan, a faculty member of the Department of History, presented his talk titled “The Commander-in-Chief Battle of the Fronts and the 30 August Victory Day.”

The program concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation and a group photograph session.
